Now, I have extremely curly, frizzy, very long, unmanageable hair and I have been searching for a miracle. Well Leslie introduced me to Liscio, the Japanese Hair Straightening Product. I was extremely nervous, yet excited to get it done. I got there that morning overcome with fear and the staff made me feel like, we had been friends forever.

        So the process began with shampooing, chemical application, washing, drying, flat ironing, and at that point my hair looked gorgeous, but it was time to repeat the process again. After 8 hours, I felt like a super model. It was simply miraculous. I left the salon with a totally different attitude about myself. I looked amazing. My frizzy, curly, time consuming hair was completely retexturized. It was pin straight, sleek and shiny. My hair looked healthier than ever before which I thought was quite strange considering I just sat through eight hours of heat and chemical treatment. Now my hair blows naturally in the breeze. No frizz, no humidity problems, I can even let air dry and it dries straight. Absolutely incredible! You can go to those other hair salons and get your hair blown out and flat ironed for a ridiculous price and it only lasts for maybe three days or you can go to the Beauty Lounge NYC and get your hair Japanese Straightened for $100 an hour and know that you will have impeccable hair for the next six to nine months.
            This was the best thing I’ve ever did and it was definitely worth every single penny. The Beauty Lounge NYC has just added another extremely happy customer to the long list of clientele.

Mini TR with Leslie - I love it!
I just had my second mTR with Leslie on Friday and he did an excellent job. He also gave me the best cut I've had in years. I highly recommend going there if you need any of the straightening services or even color or a cut. I have been to Hayato several times, and while they always did a great job, and their prices are hard to resist, I never felt like I could get answers to my questions because of the language barrier. It's the opposite when you go to Capelli D'Oro because Leslie has a lot of knowledge and experience with the process, and makes sure that he shares all of that with his staff. So, thanks Leslie, and everyone at the salon who helped with my hair - see you in a couple of months!

opti-smooth results with Leslie
About 9 months ago I had Istraight at a local salon. The stylist appeared to have knowledge -- but the end result was a combination of overprocessed and underprocessed hair. I never got smooth silky results and found myself back to my one hour ritual to have straight hair. Today I had the privilege to be the model for Leslie and his staff using the opti-smooth hot process. I will let Leslie tell you how he felt the product performed compared to the others he has used but my results were great. It took about 4 hours. After the chemical process was finished Leslie hit my hair with a blowdryer for 10 minutes and my hair remained perfectly straight. He quickly styled it and I was finished. I had smooth silky hair. The same results I get after an hour of torture using a hot iron and lotsssss of product. Results I did not get by going to an inexperienced stylist. Leslie did the most difficult parts of the process (with some help from the rep) but I have to say - there is not a member of Leslie's staff that I wouldn't trust my hair to. He educates all day -- from the application of the chemicals (allowing them a hands on approach) to the way your hair should be rinsed. I walked in nervous -- but within minutes I could tell that nothing would go wrong with his constant supervision and professional knowledge. As a matter of fact I believe the opti-smooth rep walked away better informed. Leslie - thank you!! You are a true professional as well as a gentleman. I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful work you put into my hair last night. I woke up this morning and it looks perfect! I didn't even have to touch it up with an iron or blow anything out. I love my cut and my swoopy bangs! :) I'm about to go see my second graders and I know they're gonna flip out. My fiance loves it just as much as I did...he couldn't stop staring at me the whole train ride back. You truly are an amazing talent and there's no question that I'll be back.
