I had my first BKT at Capelli D'Oro on Saturday with Leslie and his team. For background, my hair is very fine, very curly, lightened, heavily highlighted and very damaged and dry. You can only imagine my frizz level. The process was a total success. I had a consultation with Leslie, where he explained the process and fielded any questions I had, and I had a lot. The total process took about 2.5 hrs, including a haircut that I desperately needed.
I washed my hair last night (Wed). Unbelievable. My hair is so soft and straight. I just blow dried with a paddle brush very loosely to get some shape and my hair is gorgeous. The hair is smooth and shiny and straight with body. All I used was some heat protector before blow drying. I didn't even use my flat iron (my love/hate relationship with that thing is finally over).
